Mom’s Tuna Farfalle Salad aka “Bowtie Pasta”

“A nice cold pasta with tuna to provide protein” says my Dad!

My sister and I refer to this as “Bowtie Pasta.”  The ‘salad’ being dropped off the end and layman’s term for Farfalle being used because when you really need this pasta salad you can only mutter out the words, “Bowtie Pasta please… ”   No formalities needed!

1 box Farfalle

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup chopped bell pepper (green, red, or drained roasted reds)

2 cans (3 oz) solid white albacore tuna

1-2 tsp salt

1 1/3 cups mayo

To Prepare:  Cook pasta and set aside to cool.  When cooled combine the rest of the ingredients.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

(On a really bad day this pasta salad gets just mayo and tuna and it still rocks my socks off!)
