Gundy Granola Bars

3 cups quick-cooking oats

1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries (or any dried fruit you prefer)

1 cup flaked coconut

1 cup sliced almonds

1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

1 (14oz) can of sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.

2. Grease a 9×13 pan

3. …In large bowl, mix together the oats, coconut, almonds, chocolate chips and dried fruit with the sweetened condensed milk and butter with your hands until well blended.

4. Press flat into prepared pan.

5. Bake for 20-25 minutes in the preheated oven, depending on how crunchy you want them.  Lightly browned just around the edges will give moist, chewy bars.  Let cool for 5 minutes, cut into sqaures then let cool completely before serving.

These are SOOOOOO good and Cole would eat the whole pan if I’d let him.  Also, I’ve known people add flaxseed, protein or other ingredients to make a little healthier.
