Homemade Raspberry Thumbprint Cookie

Eggnog Thumbprints:

  • 3/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • dash ground nutmeg

Directions:

Cream 1st 3 ingredients. Add egg, vanilla and salt; mix well. Gradually add in flour until dough forms.

Shape into 1″ or 1/2″ balls. Place dough balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and make thumbprint wells into cookies.

Bake 350F 12 mins. Then cool completely.

Combine last margarine, powdered sugar & rum. Spoon into wells of cookies. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
